Last Mention in Feb.

This blog will cover various subjects in general. Further details will be posted once finalized; in no particular order:

• Our Annual General Meeting on Apr. 2nd, 2013 will be at the "Best Western Vernon Lodge"  (3914 - 32nd Street, Vernon, BC, V1T 5P1, Canada.)  From 7pm - 9 pm.
• Speakers tentatively scheduled include one from the R.D.N.O. Re: "Regional Growth Strategy" and one from the "Bee S.A.F.E." Re: Genetically Modified Organisms.
• Some information on Parks (Regional Areas "B" & "C") and some other subjects that will listed when defined.
• F.Y.I. there is a $5.00 membership fee per person.

Although the list looks small, discussion of these subjects can easily be more lengthy.  However, we will be keeping to a time limit.

The association is consistently looking for new members and/or interested individuals as directors.  This isn't as formidable as it sounds, but is certainly quite educational.  Contact the association at the email address bxslca@hotmail.com .

Some directors attended the Schubert Center with Mr. Norm Letnick's annoucement concerning the "Class E licenses issuance" within the Northern Okanagan.

There are numerous questions still that remain unanswered despite this announcement.  Dissapointment in the number of licenses announced and content was common to all informal discussion.  A lot of the comments were similar to the ones expressed in the above article.

There will be more posts as time goes by as there will be more details added about the AGM.
